So much good food, in fact that Asians travel from all over the continenet to eat in what they consider to be the food capital of the east. Penang’s people demand good food, and they refuse to pay a lot for it. It works for them. Luckily, we got to reap the benefits.

We went by the mantra of looking for busy places. Which was hard, since places were always full and people were always eating. We quickly realized this was working in our favor. We didn’t eat one thing that wasn’t mind blowingly delicious. Here’s a few I managed to take photos of before devouring.

Everything else was devoured upon arrival.

Bonus? Local music festival:

Just a heavy metal Malay band. Which invovled a LOT of headbanging.

AND a little stand-up comedy never hurt anyone!

It was good. Promise.
